Marvel’s latest super hero to hit the big screen was Ant-Man, starring Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd.
When Darren Cross (Corey Stoll) aka Yellow Jacket uncovers the secret Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) has been trying to hide for years, Dr. Pym is forced to turn to thief extraordinaire Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) for help.
In order to save his daughter, Lang must embrace his new mentor and learn to use a super-suit with the amazing ability to shrink in scale but increase strength.
As Lang trains to become the next Ant-Man, Dr. Pym also unveils another secret.
He uses a behind-the-ear hearing tech device to communicate directly with four (4) different types of ants: carpenter ants, bullet ants, fire ants, and crazy ants.
The device looks exactly like a behind-the-ear hearing aid that somehow translates the users desire via electromagnetic pulses to chemical cues which are supposed to stimulate the olfactory system of the ants, and essentially allow you to control them. Just check out the photos below.
And here’s another shot of Dr. Pym, without zooming in and circling the device. Can you spot it?
But one fact remains…
Ant-Man relies on hearing technology as one of his super powers.
