ReSound Hearing Aids Reviews – Overview and Prices

There are enough distinct hearing aids on the market to make your head spin. Different manufacturers comprise different brands, with different brands comprising different models… truth be told, it can all feel a bit overwhelming.

That’s why we’re here to give you a rundown of the best, most popular models. Here, we’ll be talking about ReSound hearing aids, their features, how much they cost, and anything else of note.

Hearing aid companies are often protective of their own statistics and information – especially their pricing. However, we’ve done our best to pull together what we can. We’ll try to be as comprehensive as possible, but really, the only way to hear all about these hearing aids is from a professional. Book a free consultation with a hearing specialist near you to learn more about ReSound hearing aids.

We still recommend that you get professional advice before considering one of the hearing aid models listed below. Our online tool can help match you with a hearing specialist in your area. It’s free and quick to use.

Major ReSound hearing aid models

You can look at ReSound’s models on their own page here, but we’ll try to provide a breakdown of the company’s more popular or remarkable models. Before we get started, you should be aware:

  • Our estimated prices are based on a single hearing aid, not a pair
  • Your hearing healthcare provider may add extra charges (such as retunings and follow-ups) when you’re purchasing a hearing aid
  • We’re looking at the top-of-the-line model of each of these hearing aids. This is always the best version, and therefore the most expensive. You might decide you want a less powerful model, in which case you’d be paying significantly less
  • Each hearing aid listed here has many models, which are released as hearing aid technology advances. Our information refers to the most recently released model, as of July 2019

ReSound costs

ReSound hearing aids tend to be on the more reasonable side when it comes to price, but can still run you a decent amount if you shoot for one of the best models. Remember that we’ll be looking at the best versions of each hearing aid in this article, so they’re all going to be in the higher cost range.

LiNX Quattro 9

LiNX Quattro hearing aids

ProsCons
Long Battery LifeExpensive
App functionalityRechargeable battery costs extra

ReSound’s flagship model, the LiNX Quattro has only been on the market for around six months.

As you can expect from such a new product, the sound quality is top of the line. The LiNX Quattro 9 includes noise tracking, adjustable directional mixing, and a link with an app on your phone, which allows you to make subtle adjustments on the move. You can get a battery-based power source, or a rechargeable one. The rechargeable option will add another cost to your bill.If you want to know how ahead of the curve we are, this hearing aid isn’t even on the market yet. Officially available to audiologists as of November 1st, 2019, first impressions are slowly rolling in from other publications.

When you can finally get your hands on one, the LiNX Quattro 9 will cost you around $2,740. It’s a bit pricier, but as of now, it’s the dictionary definition for “best on the market.”

LiNX 3D 9

Linx-3D hearing aids

ProsCons
Packed with featuresSome models may not have every featrue
Tinnitus cancellerExpensive

Unfortunately, it seems like each hearing aid comes with different features, depending on your hearing loss. We couldn’t find which features apply to which hearing aid, but if you’re looking at buying one, you’d surely be briefed on possible features beforehand. As you can see from this review, the 3D 9 is packed with so many goodies that we can’t cover them all here. Some great highlights include a tinnitus canceller, Bluetooth audio streaming, and app compatibility.

Depending on the features you’re given, your price could be anywhere between $2,400 and $3,200, which is pretty steep. However, every review we found had nothing but good things to say about the product’s comfort and sound quality.

Enya 4

ReSound Enya hearing aids

ProsCons
InexpensiveA bit bare-bones
Still retains good sound quality

The world of hearing aids can seem a bit impenetrable, with all sorts of terms like “Multiscope Adaptive Directionality,” “Synchronized Soft Switching,” and “Impulse Noise Reduction” crawling out of the woodwork to flummox and enchant your wallet. If you’re thinking about making a thriftier purchase, maybe for your first hearing aid, you could do a lot worse than the Enya 4 – the hearing aid equivalent of a starter car.

The Enya 4, while certainly boasting some opaque features, is a meat and potatoes hearing aid. It helps you hear more clearly, and does this well, such as by stopping feedback or wind interference. However, other than app functionality (a staple in all ReSound products), it doesn’t have too many other bells and whistles.

The Enya 4 will only cost you around $1,500. This might dip down into triple figures if you decide to go for the Enya 2, a less powerful version.

In the end

Hopefully we’ve given you a bit of insight into ReSound hearing aids, and have helped you decide if you’re at all interested in getting some. The world of hearing aids is ironically very noisy, with hundreds of different brands with complicated names all doing different things, so being confused is understandable.

If you have further questions about ReSound hearing aids, or hearing aids in general, you may benefit from a consultation with a hearing specialist. If you use our online form, you’ll be able to book a free appointment with a hearing specialist, where you can discuss any concerns you may have.
